Murder : Narrative of the trial, conviction and execution of Captain William Corran. Master of the Brig Falmouth. Who was executed at Halifax, Nova-Scotia, July 21, 1794, for the most barbarous, inhuman and bloody murder of Mr. Joseph Porter, a passenger on board said brig, by hewing him in in [sic] pieces with a remarkable large and heavy cutlass.
