State of New-Hampshire. Exeter, January 14th, 1777 : Whereas orders have issured [sic] to several recruiting officers in this state, appointing them to inlist men for the continental service, to serve during the war ... resolved, that every non-commissioned officer, and private soldier belonging to this state, who shall inlist for three years ... be entitled to, and received the sum of twenty-pounds.
