General noteBristol supplies imprint: [Boston, J. Foster, 1676]. A funeral elegy upon the death of Winthrop's son, Governor John Winthrop of Connecticut (1606-1676) was printed by Foster in 1676 (Bristol B32), and this elegy may have been printed by Foster at the same time. Wegelin supplies the imprint [Cambridge, Samuel Green, 1665], presumably assuming that it appeared upon the death of the author.

General noteWing entry L3307 appears to have been cancelled in error in the second edition, the present title having been confused with Bristol B32, Wing (2nd ed.) F2532.
