At a General Assembly of the governor and Company of his majesty's English colony of Connecticut : in New-England, in America: holden at Hartford in said colony (by adjournment) on the ninth day of February, Annoque Domini, 1757. ... this Assembly do hereby resolve, and order, that there be a public contribution throughout this colony, in the several congregations, on the twentieth day of March next ensuing, for collecting the sum of five, or six thousand pounds.
