Scores and parts for 532 original and arranged works for salon orchestra, primarily published in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Previously owned by East Carolina University professor and orchestra conductor Robert Hause. The collection was given to Hause by the family of K.W. Strom, and the materials bear the property stamp "Library of K.W. Strom". Various composers are represented including Franz Lehár and other composers of German and Scandinavian origin. |
