IV. Descent of manors, &c. from the norman conquest to the present time, with an accurate transcript of domesday-book so far as it relates to this county, and a translation of it in English. V. Ecclesiastical history; including a particular account of the bishoprick of Bath and Wells, with the succession of its bishops and deans; -the origin, progress, flourishing state, and dissolution, of the religious houses; -an account of all the livings, present patrons and incumbents. -Description of all, and accurate engravings of the principal churches, with copies of monumental inscriptions. The topographical, and natural history, by Mr. Edmund Rack, secretary to the agriculture and philosophical societies at bath, and honorary member of the society for promoting natural history in London.
