With submission. As the generality of mankind are curious of knowing the birth-place, or place of abode, of the very fortunate, or very unfortunate; and as few have been more unfortunate than the family of Derweniwater; I have drawn a north-west perspective view of Dilston-Hall, the seat of the late Earl, with a beautiful landscape, ornamented with figures suitable to the draught, to which I have added a descriptive poem. The weaknes of my circumstances obliges me to take this method of selling my own works.
