Claim for Alexander Hay eldest son procreate of the marriage betwixt John Hay late portioner of Restalridge, writer to the Signet, and the deceast Mrs. Anne Elphinston his wife, upon the forfeited estates real and personal of the said John Hay, now vested in His Majesty; Tendered to the Right Honourable the lords of council and session, in terms of an act of Parliament made in the twentieth year of his present majrsty, entiuled, an act for vesting in his majesty the estates of certain traitors, &c. By John Mackenzie writer to the Signet, as factor for, and in name and behalf of the said Alexander Hay, conform to a factory in his favours of date the 2d of August 1746.
