A catalogue of scarce and valuable books in most languages, and all parts of learning, being the libraries of a late learned and eminent Prelate of the church, and a certain Member of Parliament lately deceas'd, as also the best part of the late Dr. Archer's Archdeacon of Wells. Amongst which are, the scarcest and best editions of almost all the Greek and Roman historians, andiquaries, philosphers, mathematicians and poets: the fathers, councils, annalists, law, civil and ecclesiastick, rites, ceremonies, history and antiquity of the churches of all nations, with many polemical theological commentators, lexicographers &c. Which will begin to be sold on Wednesday the 2nd of April 1740at 11 o' clock in the morning, at Ben Hickey's in Cock-Lane, Bristol.-The lowest price of each book being printed in the catalogue, that gentlemen at any distance may be purchasers, by sending timely commissions. Catalogues to be had at the place of sale, price 6d. - where the full value is given for any library or parcel of old books.
