For the use of Lord's day schools, two scripture catechisms : I. For children who are just begun to-read distinctly; II. For those about eleven or twelve years of age; both intended to prepare for the use of what is more deeply learned and systematical. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shait talk of them when thou fittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and whwn thou risest up, Deut. vi. 7. Compare Psalm lxxviii. 5, 6, 7. And that frm a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim. iii. 15.
