Memoirs of James Lackington, who from the humble station of a journeyman shoemaker, by great industry, amassed a large fortune and now lives in a splendid stile in London : containing among other curious and facetious anecdotes, a succinct account of the watch-nights, classes, bands, love-feasts, &c. of the Methodists : with specimens of Mr. Wesley's and Mr. Whitfield's mode of preaching, and the means made use of by them in propagating their tenets / written by himself.
