Mr. Livingstone's Letters to the King, and to Lord Brougham and Vaux, on the subject of a plan for the formation of a society for the abolition of poor's rate in England, and the prevention of it in Ireland, and for other most desirable objects, which will relieve distress, employ the poor, assist the farmers, benefit the landlords, stimulate trade, increase the revenue, and strengthen the government ; Mr. Livingstone's petition to the House of Commons on the same subject, and his observations on a bill for the relief of the aged, helpless and infirm poor of Ireland, pointing out not only the defects, but the inutility of that bill.
