What is known and cited as Winston's Law consists of the last serial number reported by Jones with appendix in all 196 pages and then, paged on from 197 to 471, the first number of Winston, with appendix. There is a common index and table of cases, but no title page. Another volume (usually cited as Winston's Equity), having a common table of cases and index, contains Winston's Equity (111 pages) and Winston's Law, vol. 1. no. 2 (167 pages) paged separately. The latter part is cited as 2 Winst. Law. All four of these parts were reprinted in one volume in 1878 [North Carolina reports, vol. LX. Embracing Winston's Law reports, vols.
