General notePhotolithographed facsimile of the edition of Giuliano Dati's poetical paraphrase of Columbus' first letter printed at Florence after Oct. 26, 1493 (Harrisse, no. 8). Although the American Antiquarian Society copy lacks documentation, this facsimile of the incomplete copy held by the British Museum was presumably produced by John Harris, of London, who, in 1851, advertised as "artist, lithographer and copyist."
