Argument in defence of the Rev. Eliphalet Nott, D.D., president of Union College : and in answer to the charges made against him by Levinus Vanderheyden and James W. Beckman / presented before the committee of the Senate appointed to investigate certain pecuniary affairs of Union College by John C. Spencer ; with a snyposis of its contents ; to which are appended the principal documents, testimony and statements produced in behalf of Dr. Nott and the Trustees of the College before the Committee ; together with some of the testimony, statements, &c., on the part of the prosecution ; with a table of the contents thereof and an explanatory note.
