| Abstract | The Public Land spatial data sets (shapefile) contains Public Land Survey section polygons that had mining claims recorded in the U.S. Bureau of Land Management's LR2000 database as of December 31, 2005 (from a May 4, 2006 data extraction) for the period from 1976 to 2005 in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Data for Alaska from Alaska BLM ALIS database was extracted August 31, 2006. |
