Biographical noteAlice Morgan Person (1840-1913) of Franklin County, N.C., was the producer, distributor, and saleswoman of Mrs. Joe Person's Remedy, a proprietary medicine. She was also a mother of nine children and the wife of Joseph Arrington Person, a planter from Franklin County, N.C.
