The mayor and magistrates having taken into consideration the request of the inhabitants of this town and neighbourhood, relative to the present scarcity of corn, and other articles of provision; do hereby give notice, that such persons as shall buy any corn, unless the same is exposed for sale in the public market, do thereby subject themselves to an indictment.
