| Abstract | The Westview Towers fire had 4 fatalities and the Council Towers Apartment had none. Both fires remain undetermined but it is believed that they were the result of smoking. The fires are similar because of the presence of oxygen cylinders in the apartments of origin. Both apartments were high-rise buildings. |
