Collection consists of a compilation of the "History of Nash County Board of Education." The history appeared in a series of thirty articles in the Nashville Graphic and was planned as a part of a larger work on the history of Nash County. The series is a comprehensive survey of the history of education in Nash County from the early years of the nineteenth century to the end of World War II. |
