| Abstract |
The author's study of Beethoven's String Quartets has been divided into two parts. In this second volume he examines Op. 95 and the five late quartets. Volume 1 covers the early and middle-period quartets to Op. 74 and also the four string trios and the string quartet. The author is well known as a writer on music, and as an editor of Handel and other baroque composers. |
