Biographical noteVictor C. Faure, of San Francisco, CA, was the son of Henry E. Faure and his wife Inge Peterson Faure. He served with the American Expeditionary Force in France during World War I. In later years he, like his parents before him, was very involved in the Native Sons of the Golden West.
