Scope and content |
Minutes comprise the bulk of the collection and reflect the format of meetings and work of the program, book, and emergency committees. Occasional references to civic work and charitable donations are included. The minutes also contain attendance rolls and newspaper clippings pertaining to club activities. Correspondence consists chiefly of requests for donations, invitations, and individuals' and organizations' expressions of gratitude for various gifts or expressions of sympathy. A scrapbook contains printed material (chiefly club program booklets) reflecting the organization's meeting topics and special events. Miscellaneous materials include a speech outlining the history of the club, memorials to deceased members, and copies of the club's constitution and bylaws. |
