Abstract This program explores the life and work of the enigmatic Marcel Duchamp and tells the story of his late love affair with Maria Martins, which affected him profoundly and inspired the Etant donnés. In 1913, Duchamp shocked the cultural establishment when he turned everyday objects into works of art simply by adding his signature. Also includes archival footage of the artist in interview.
