General noteThe only known copy, held by the American Antiquarian Society, is signed in ms. by William Ellery, district collector for the Treasury Department at Newport, R.I., from 1790 to 1820. Typographical evidence suggests imprint date before 1810.
General notePresumably printed by Henry Barber, the only printer active at Newport, R.I., in 1796 and 1797, or by Ann Barber who succeeded her husband and operated the printing office of the Newport Mercury from 1800 to 1809.
