Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Worcester ss. At a Court of General Sessions of the Peace ... in and for the county of Worcester, on the first Tuesday of December, A.D. 1781 : Ordered, that the clerk of this court transmit the following resolution to the select-men ... who are requested to communicate the same to the inholders ... As the laws of this commonwealth have provided, that no person shall be licenced as an innholder unless he appears to be of sober life and conversation.
