The bulk of the collection is related to college courses in forest management, economics, conservation, mapping, pulpwood production, theory of sampling, U.S. forest land policy, and other subjects pertinent to an accredited forester. Other material is of North Carolina origin and contains information on management and inventory of state forest lands. A study of forest resources in various North Carolina counties is included in this portion of the material. Several technical guides, pamphlets, information sheets, and mechanical measuring and mapping devices are also in the collection. |
