He has to take a school bus home for the first time. The long, noisy ride home is nothing like riding city transit. There's some kind of secret code of knowing where you're allowed to sit, the kids scream non-stop, and there's pudding and cheese flying through the air. Someone even tries to set Mark's seat on fire. Mark quickly decides that all these kids are nuts and does his best to avoid interacting with any of them. But when the bus is involved in a serious accident, Mark has to work with a couple of other students to get everybody to safety. He soon learns that he has more in common with these rural kids than he would ever have imagined. In turns funny and heartbreaking, The Ride Home is about learning that not everything is as it seems and that everyone has a story. 530 Issued also in electronic formats. 538 Mode of access: World Wide Web 650 0 Teenage boys |vJuvenile fiction. |=^A16367 650 0 Grandmothers |vJuvenile fiction. |=^A472077 650 0 School buses |vJuvenile fiction. |=^A129077 650 0 Teenage boys |vFiction. |=^A506804 650 0 Grandmothers |vFiction. |=^A527297 650 0 School buses |vFiction. |=^A768936 650 0 Young adult fiction. |=^A671263 650 1 School buses |vFiction. 650 1 Country life |vFiction. 650 1 Grandmothers |vFiction. 650 7 JUVENILE FICTION / Lifestyles / Country Life. |2bisacsh 650 7 Grandmothers. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst00946353 650 7 School buses. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01107107 650 7 Teenage boys. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01145373 650 7 Young adult fiction. |2fast |0(OCoLC)fst01183080 655 0 Electronic books. |=^A491897 700 1 Trafford, Tanya. |=^A1431716 830 0 Orca currents. |=^A1164546 856 40 |zFull text available from Ebook Central - Public Library Complete |uhttps://ebookcentral.proquest.com/lib/eastcarolina/detail.action?docID=6183724 947 (OCoLC)on1109971040 949 CLICK ON WEB ADDRESS |wASIS |hJOYNER188 949 CLICK ON WEB ADDRESS |wASIS |hHSL77 949 CLICK ON WEB ADDRESS |wASIS |hJMUSIC60 596 1 3 4 998 6301192
