| Abstract |
Log homes have featured prominently in the history of North American architecture. This video investigates three examples of log construction. The first is a round log summer house that a square log addition turned into an elegant retirement home; the second is a fully-restored, 19th-century square home; and the third is a hand-crafted round log bed-and-breakfast of red cedar that features massive interior spaces, generous windows, and a deck with a panoramic view. |
