Abstract The Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of the West (or Pegida) feel threatened by what they consider Muslim attacks on the Christian culture of Germany. They believe that immigrants, and particularly Muslim immigrants, are a menace to German culture and national identity. In Dresden, Germany, where Pegida started, demonstrations occur every Monday. This documentary explains Pegida's beginnings, why it is growing so fast, and what its motives are.
