This documentary explores the life and career of aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart. Husband and publicist George Putnam capitalized on her adventurous spirit and girl-next-door personality to create a celebrity persona. She felt it was unmerited and set world flight records to prove her skill-ultimately leading to her untimely death while attempting to cross the Pacific.
