Abstract David Frost interviews Richard Nixon about his foreign policy, his China initiative, relations with the Soviet Union and the policy of detente. They discuss the successes and failures of detente during the Yom Kippur war, the Pakistan and India conflict in Bangladesh, and the domestic turmoil over intervention in Cambodia at Kent State. Nixon describes his relationships with Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Leonid Brezhnev and Henry Kissinger.
