Hearings before a subcommittee of the Committee on Interstate and Foreign Commerce, House of Representatives, Eighty-fourth Congress, second session, on S. 2587, an act to amend the Public Health Service act to authorize the President to make the commissioned corps a military service in time of emergency involving the national defense, and to authorize payment of uniform allowances to officers of the corps in certain grades when required to wear the uniform, and for other purposes, and H.R. 9048, a bill to amend the Public Health Service act so as to improve the mental health of the Nation through grants for special projects to develop improved methods of care, treatment, and rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
