Abstract In episode 13, America becomes the acknowledged leader of the free world and embarks on a course of rebuilding democracies abroad. In episode 14, In the 1950s and early '60s a freedom movement emerges with the purpose of ending segregation and racism against African-Americans becoming the most effective social revolution in U.S. history. It also examines the presidency of John F. Kennedy and the rise of the National Farm Workers Association.
