General note | "At a General Assembly of the state of Connecticut ... Resolved by this Assembly, that the Adjutant-General of this state be authorised ... to cause to be printed all the laws regarding the militia that have been passed during the sessions of the General Assembly in October, 1815, and May, 1816 ... and to furnish each general and field officer now in command, with a copy thereof; and also one copy to each company of every description of troops, under the new organization of the militia; and cause the same to be distributed to the general and field officers and to the commandants of the respective companies ...
