General noteProbably printed at Boston by Thomas Adams and Isaac Larkin, since the Jan. 23, 1794, issue of their Independent chronicle contains the same news, and notes that upwards of one thousand handbills were printed and distributed "after the mail arrived yesterday." However, Alden ascribes to the press of Bennett Wheeler of Providence, printer of the United States chronicle.
