The freeholders and other inhabitants of the town of Boston, qualified as the law directs, are hereby notified to meet at Faneuil-Hall, on Monday the fourteenth day of march current ... to nominate and choose meet persons to serve the town the year ensuing as selectmen, town clerk, overseers of the poor, wardens, firewards, constables, and other officers as the law direct.
