General note | Evans entry 7834, dated 1757, is based on an advertisement for two separate titles: this one, and An answer to a second letter from a gentleman in the country, to his friend in town (New York, 1757). The latter title has been attributed to Archibald Kennedy by the Clements Library. No copy of the Letter (Evans 7931) or the Second letter (Evans 8032) is known to exist. |
