Speech of Hon. Daniel E. Sickles, of N.Y., on the state of the Union : delivered in the House of Representatives, Dec. 10, 1860, on the motion to excuse Hon[orable] Mr. Hawkins, of Florida, from serving on the Committee of one from each state, to which was referred so much of the President's message as relates to the secession of states from the Union.
