A mapping tool that enables users to: Create maps showing food access indicators by census tract using different measures and indicators of supermarket accessibility; view indicators of food access for selected subpopulations; and, download census-tract-level data on food access measures. |

In the new Food Access Research Atlas, food access indicators for census tracts using 1/2-mile and 1-mile demarcations to the nearest supermarket for urban areas, 10-mile and 20-mile demarcations to the nearest supermarket for rural areas, and vehicle availability for all tracts are estimated and mapped.
