| General note | BAL notes four states of the first gathering. In the first, the imprint reads "A.E. Carey" instead of "E.L. Carey," and p. iv is misnumbered "v." In the second, line 4 the imprint reads "A.E. Carey," and p. iv is misnumbered "vi." In the third, the imprint reads "A.E. Carey," and p. iv is numbered correctly. In the fourth, the imprint reads correctly "E.L. Carey," and p. iv is numbered correctly. BAL also notes two states of gathering 9. In the first, the next to last line on p. 98 ends "the go" instead of "they go." In the second, the next to last line on p. 98 reads correctly "they go." |
