| Abstract | This multi-torso model shows muscle features and surface topography. It has 11 life-size organ systems including skin (integumentary), skeletal, muscular, nervous and sense organs, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, endocrine, and reproductive. Each system is surveyed in an accompanying 48-minute audio cassette. There are 5 interchangable pelvic inserts. You can change the gender from male to female, or make it genderless. It shows the non-pregnant female conditon, or demonstrates pregenancy in the 1st-or 3rd trimesters. This torso gives you 5 ways to configure the same model. It's actually five different torso models in one. |
