Microfilm copies of two ledgers: one is for the steamer OSEOLA (1836-1844), possibly based in Cheraw, S.C.; and the other is for the A. Burnett & Co. (1836-1839) of Cheraw, S.C. Morven Store of Anson County, N.C. is frequently named in the A. Burnett & Co. ledger. The ledgers include inofrmation on shipping and mercantile business in North Carolina and South Carolina during the early to mid-19th century. |
