To the freeholders and freemen of the city and county of New-York : The appointment of two members only, by the various denominations of dissenters, who form a majority of the electors of this city and county, having been offered and not complied with; it was unanimously agreed, at a meeting of several hundred inhabitants, that Philip Livingston, Peter Van Brugh Livingston, Theodorus Van Wyck, and John Morin Scott, Esqrs, be candidates at the ensuing election for representatives. The votes and interest of the freeholders and freemen are therefore requested for those gentlemen
