Price 4s. bound. " We do not recollect to have before seen so well-chosen a collection of French poems printed in England as is here offered to our acceptance. Though most of the pieces are short, yet there are some of considerable length, such as L' art poėtique, Le Lutrin, La Henride, and the Ververt of Gresset; each of which has frequently been seemed of sufficient length to be published alone, at a price equl to that of the volume before us, which contains forty thousand verses."
