General noteCalculated by Nathan Daboll. The extensive eclipse predictions are practically identical with those in his New England almanack and gentlemen & ladies diary for 1794 (New London). The moon calculations, and many of the astronomical notes on the calendar pages, duplicate Daboll's. The calculations for the sun and tides vary, reflecting the difference in meridian between the two almanacs.
