A proclamation : George the Third, by the grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, and so forth. Whereas frequent complaints have been heretofore made that exorbitant fees have been demanded and taken in the public offices in several of our colonies and plantations in America, for business transacted in such offices.
