Account book records payments for food, medical supplies, soap, and other goods for the brig; and money received for merchandise sold- such as tobacco, palm hats, shingles, and boards. Also includes accounts possibly for the ship doctor, Enoch Train; port charges for hospital fees; and cash advances and wages paid to crew who are listed by name.
