Biographical noteKenneth Hammond is a former East Carolina University employee and alumnus who worked as the associate director in Mendenhall Student Center and as the director of Minority Arts Programming for the Minority Arts Committee. After leaving ECU, Hammond served as the senior pastor Union Baptist Church in Durham, N.C. and was awarded several honors by ECU for his service and dedication to the university.
